Botkins came out on top against Houston on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Trojans walked away with a 7-4 win over the Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Botkins' record now sits at 7-5. As for Houston, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Botkins will square off against rival Russia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Houston is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Loramie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
