Maynard is 9-1 against Armorel since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Maynard will head out on the road to challenge Armorel at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Maynard had to suffer through a 65-29 loss at the hands of Earle. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Armorel was beaten by Hillcrest 54-22 on Friday.

Maynard's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-9. As for Armorel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything came up roses for Maynard against Armorel in their previous matchup back in November of 2025, as the team secured a 63-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maynard since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
