Floyd Central came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Jeffersonville Red Devils as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Highlanders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

One reason for the win was Floyd Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-11.

Macy Sorg paced Floyd Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Sorg got some help from Lillie Furmall and her 18 assists.

Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Jeffersonville, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Looking ahead, Floyd Central will square off against North Oldham at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jeffersonville, they will face off against Providence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
