Basketball Game Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Northview Wildcats

The Rogers Rams and the Northview Wildcats will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Rogers, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, Rogers didn't have too much trouble with Cardinal Stritch as they won 43-29. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Cardinals are ranked 647th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Northview suffered their closest loss since January 30th on Monday. They fell just short of Springfield by a score of 49-46. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Rogers and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Rogers was taken down by Northview 87-56 when the teams last played back in February of 2021. Can Rogers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
