Basketball Recap: Mounds Takes a Loss

Mounds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Haskell Haymakers. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Haymakers earlier this season, when they won 49-42.

Mounds' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Haskell, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11.

Mounds will welcome Chouteau-Mazie at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Haskell, they will venture away from home to square off against Davis at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
