Daniel is a perfect 7-0 against Travelers Rest since February of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Devildogs at 6:30 p.m. Daniel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Daniel is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Easley just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Green Wave. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Lions, who until this contest were averaging 4.1 runs allowed.

Daniel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wells Young, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Travelers Rest can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 14-11 victory over Liberty.

Travelers Rest's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Daniel, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Everything went Daniel's way against Travelers Rest when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Daniel made off with a 14-3 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Devildogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
