Football Recap: Mechanicsburg Comes Up Short

While it was Mechanicsburg who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Lower Dauphin who put up more. The Wildcats and the Falcons were almost perfectly matched up, but the Wildcats suffered a 22-21 loss. The Wildcats were up 14-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Hunter Strohm was his usual excellent self, rushing for 111 yards and two touchdowns for Lower Dauphin. Matteo Cangialosi was another key rusher, rushing for 57 yards and one score on only six carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mechanicsburg fell to 3-1. As for Lower Dauphin, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
