Sam Burks Delivers Best Effort of Season
Sam Burks produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northside Christian Academy to the win on Friday. Burks rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
The victory (which was Northside Christian Academy's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Burks' next matchup is against Florence Christian on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
