Soccer Recap: Moore Takes a Loss

Moore pushed their score to one the last time they played Piedmont, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Moore Lions fell 2-0 to the Piedmont Wildcats. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Piedmont, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Norman at 8:00 p.m. on March 25th. Piedmont also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Putnam City North at 8:00 p.m. on March 25th.
