Clay County is 0-4 against South Pittsburg since November of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Pirates. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a 11-game winning streak alive.

Clay County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Midway to the tune of 52-21. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clay County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Nolan Adams.

Meanwhile, South Pittsburg's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let Oliver Springs get on the board and left with a 49-0 victory. The Pirates are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 11th game they've won by 20+ points this season.

South Pittsburg's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Clay County, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 11-1.

Clay County took a serious blow against South Pittsburg in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 49-13. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
