Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jj Suarez and Cameron Parsons Lead Crawford to Victory + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Axtell, Crawford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Holland Hornets by a score of 21-13. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 42-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

A big part of Crawford's win came down to the chemistry between Cameron Parsons and his top target Jj Suarez. Parsons rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries while Suarez rushed for 62 yards and one TD.

Crawford pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Holland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Crawford and Holland will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Pirates see the field they'll take on Marlin at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. As for Holland, their break will end when they face Harper at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
