Softball Recap: Arcata Comes Up Short

Arcata fell victim to Del Norte and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-1 loss on April 5th.

Arcata has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Del Norte, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Arcata wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-8 victory against Eureka on the 26th. As for Del Norte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fortuna at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
