Basketball Game Preview: North Bullitt Eagles vs. Bullitt East Chargers

North Bullitt hasn't had much luck against Bullitt East recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The North Bullitt Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Bullitt East Chargers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

North Bullitt is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 24th on Monday. They blew past Shelby County 67-47.

Meanwhile, Bullitt East had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 58-10 win over the Mustangs. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 231st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bullitt East's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.5 points. As for North Bullitt, their win bumped their record up to 10-19.
