Recap: Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack vs. Tioga Tigers
The Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack and the Tioga Tigers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack had to settle for second. They took a serious blow against the Tigers, falling 63-16. Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama's loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Although Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Cipolla and Tate Catanese.
It was another big night for Drew Macumber, who rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry for Tioga. Macumber is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played. Caden Bellis was another key contributor, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama's defeat dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Tioga, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tioga is on the road again on Saturday and play against Stillwater at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Stillwater: 14.1, Tioga: 9.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
