Bowdon came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 27-13 victory over the Callaway Cavaliers.

Bowdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Alaina Beasley led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Bowdon and Callaway will both be playing Heard County the next time they take the field. The Cavaliers will host the Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
