Basketball Recap: Northwood Academy's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Northwood Academy was the 60-49 winner over First Baptist School when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Northwood Academy Chargers took a hard 61-46 fall against the First Baptist School Hurricanes on Friday.

Northwood Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for First Baptist School, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood Academy has already played their next contest (against Palmetto Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. First Baptist School will face off against Porter-Gaud at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in First Baptist School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
