King George proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Caroline Cavaliers, sneaking past 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Foxes as they're now sitting on seven straight.

King George pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Caroline, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. King George will challenge rival Chancellor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Caroline is set to face off against their familiar foe Courtland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
