Preview: Stanberry vs. King City/Union Star
On Friday Stanberry take on King City/Union Star at 7:00 PM. Both teams are strolling into their match after big wins in their previous games.
Stanberry were fully in charge last week, breezing past Albany 58-20. Senior Trey Schieber, who rushed for 202 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Stanberry's success. In fact, with 20 tackles Schieber was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, King City/Union Star simply couldn't be stopped, as they easily beat Northwest 86-22. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 62-22.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, King City/Union Star and Stanberry will really light up the scoreboard.
