Softball Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Denair Coyotes. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 18-7 to the Coyotes when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Denair, their record is now 6-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waterford will square off against rival Stone Ridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Denair is set to challenge their familiar foe Mariposa County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
