Volleyball Recap: Bellevue Wolverines vs. Liberty Patriots
Liberty typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Bellevue proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Liberty Patriots out 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Bellevue had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-13.
Bellevue was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.
