Baseball Game Preview: Waterloo Vikings vs. Memorial Red Devils

For the second straight game, Waterloo will face off against Memorial. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Waterloo is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Memorial by a score of 12-7 on Monday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Derek Hupp, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wade Mori, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Memorial is on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16. As for Waterloo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
