Basketball Recap: FAU High Finds Home Court Redemption Against Sports Leadership & Management

There's no place like home for FAU High, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They strolled past the Sports Leadership & Management Giants with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 73-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-48 back in December of 2024.

FAU High had a senior duo take command as Reza Zilouchain went 10 of 14 en route to 21 points and Jarret Mauvais went 8 for 17 on his way to 23 points. The game was Mauvais' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shepherd Britton, who posted 13 points.

Despite the loss, Sports Leadership & Management saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dennis Pierre Jr. had 34 points.

FAU High's record now sits at 11-5. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

FAU High didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-44 victory against Glades Day on the 22nd. Sports Leadership & Management has also already played their next game, a 95-58 defeat against Highlands Christian on the 23rd.
