Softball Recap: Garber Comes Up Short

Garber made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Gaylord, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Dukes fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Dukes in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Garber's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Gaylord, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Garber will face off against Pinconning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gaylord, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 victory against Portage Central on the 17th.
