Wolcott RVT has gone a perfect 5-0 against Wright Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wildcats will square off against the Warriors at 3:45 p.m. Wolcott RVT is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Abbott RVT hit Wolcott RVT with a five-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats fell 8-4 to the Wolverines. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunter Aeschlimann was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.

At the plate, Devon Schmitt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Mason Carter also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Wright Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Bullard-Havens. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Wolcott RVT's record now sits at 9-5. As for Wright Tech, their record is now 1-7.

Wolcott RVT took their win against Wright Tech in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
