Baseball Recap: Cane Bay Takes a Loss

Cane Bay lost against Berkeley on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cobras came up short against the Stags, falling 14-3. The Cobras just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Cane Bay saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Dodson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Drew Grimm was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Cane Bay's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Berkeley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

While Cane Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
