Volleyball Recap: Miami Trace Panthers vs. River View Black Bears
Miami Trace posted their closest victory since September 18th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the River View Black Bears, sneaking past 2-1.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Miami Trace got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-21.
Lauren Farrens paced Miami Trace's offense, picking up 24 kills. Farrens got some help from Kylie Yeazel and her 39 assists. Lauren Guess controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Lindyn Fry and Audrey Buxton certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Fry had nine digs and one assist, while Buxton had five digs.
