Rochelle and Kaneland are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Hubs will head out to challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rochelle lost 37-14 to Morris on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Morris are ranked 14th).

Kaneland hadn't beaten Sycamore on the road since September 28, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Knights blew past the Spartans 34-14. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Kaneland pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Rochelle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Rochelle against Kaneland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-24 win. In that matchup, the Hubs amassed a halftime lead of 38-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
