Basketball Recap: Union Parish Takes a Loss

Union Parish lost against Delhi back in December of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Union Parish Farmers took a 62-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delhi Bears. The Farmers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union Parish's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Delhi, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Union Parish will challenge Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delhi, they will take on St. Frederick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Frederick comes in on seven and Delhi on four.
