Basketball Recap: Hagerstown Takes a Loss

Hagerstown lost against Richmond back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers fell 56-45 to the Red Devils.

Richmond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Thomas Stargell led the charge by shooting 50% from the field to rack up 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Hubbard, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Hagerstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Hagerstown will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Cowan at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Richmond, they will head out to take on Jay County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
