Wilcox won the last time they faced Sacred Heart Prep and Kai Imahara did his part to make sure it happened again. The Chargers took down the Gators 35-17 on Saturday with plenty of help from Imahara, who rushed for 156 yards and one score on only 15 carries, and also threw for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of Wilcox's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Wilcox has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilcox is set to take on their familiar foe Menlo School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Imahara and Jack Freehill. Meanwhile, Sacred Heart Prep will face off against rival Palo Alto at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
