Recap: Central Hawks vs. Calvary Christian Knights
On Friday, Central got the win against Calvary Christian by a conclusive 73-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Central.
Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Seldon, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Seldon has scored all season. Demarcus White was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Despite the loss, Calvary Christian saw an underclassman step up: Tj Benson scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Benson hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games.
Central now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Calvary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
Central will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Webster County at 3:30 p.m. Webster County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Calvary Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Southland Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
