Football Game Preview: Clinton Gaels vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors + How To Watch

The Clinton Gaels will square off against the Nipmuc Regional Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinton's defense has only allowed 11.1 points per game this season, so Nipmuc Regional's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Nipmuc Regional will be up against a hot Clinton team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Gaels claimed a resounding 49-6 win over Maynard. Considering the Gaels have won four games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Naughton had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 49 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Nipmuc Regional finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 28-6 to Northbridge. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The loss snapped Nipmuc Regional's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
