Basketball Game Preview: Landmark Christian War Eagles vs. Walker Wolverines

Having just played yesterday, the Landmark Christian War Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Walker Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Landmark Christian and five for Walker.

Landmark Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Whitefield Academy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Landmark Christian was dealt a 58-27 defeat at the hands of Whitefield Academy. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the WolfPack are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, Walker was beaten by St. Francis 92-25 on Friday.

Landmark Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Walker, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Landmark Christian couldn't quite finish off Walker in their previous meeting back in December of 2020 and fell 53-50. Can Landmark Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
