Basketball Game Preview: Lindhurst Blazers vs. Golden Sierra Grizzlies

The Lindhurst Blazers will square off against the Golden Sierra Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lindhurst is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Lindhurst was beaten by Mesa Verde 63-20.

Meanwhile, Golden Sierra strolled past San Juan with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 60-43. The Grizzlies pushed the score to 51-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans cut but never quite recovered from.

Golden Sierra's win came from a few key players Lindhurst will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bradley Dodson, who posted 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Caruthers, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Golden Sierra smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Golden Sierra's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Lindhurst, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
