Basketball Recap: Lee County Comes Up Short

If Lee County was riding high fresh off their 66-43 takedown of Dougherty on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tift County Blue Devils on Tuesday. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Blue Devils since Tuesday.

Lee County now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lee County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dothan at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Tift County, they will venture away from home to take on Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
