Volleyball Recap: Spain Park Falls Short Against Ranked Spanish Fort

Spain Park faced Spanish Fort in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Toros. The Jaguars have struggled against the Toros recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Spain Park saw an underclassman step up: freshman Camdyn Kyes had 21 digs and four assists.

Spain Park's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 37-8. As for Spanish Fort, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 57-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Spain Park nor Spanish Fort have any future games scheduled.
