Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Herndon). They were the clear victors by a 42-22 margin over the Wakefield Warriors on Thursday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Judah Connor, who threw for 156 yards and two TDs.

Herndon's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Wakefield, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
