Basketball Game Preview: Pleasant Grove Hawks vs. Sulphur Springs Wildcats

Pleasant Grove hasn't had much luck against Sulphur Springs recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pleasant Grove Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Sulphur Springs Wildcats at 6:15 p.m.

Pleasant Grove came up short against North Lamar on Friday, falling 42-18. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Warriors 62-29. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Sulphur Springs has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Pleasant Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Pleasant Grove might still be hurting after the 63-38 loss they got from Sulphur Springs in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Pleasant Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
