Basketball Recap: Baldwin-Woodville Takes a Loss

Baldwin-Woodville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Panthers are ranked 118th).

Baldwin-Woodville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Durand-Arkansaw, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Baldwin-Woodville is taking a road trip to square off against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Baldwin-Woodville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Durand-Arkansaw has already played their next contest, a 67-40 win against Elmwood/Plum City on the 4th.
