Soccer Game Preview: Ragsdale vs. Grimsley

The Ragsdale Tigers will face off against the Grimsley Whirlies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ragsdale took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Southeast Guilford a 6-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for Ragsdale in their matchups with Southeast Guilford: they've now won eight in a row.

Ragsdale hit Southeast Guilford with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Micah Moody (3), Nyzia Heath, Nikolina Jorgic, and Caroline Van Thillo.

Meanwhile, Grimsley hasn't lost a match since March 18th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They blew past Western Guilford 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Ragsdale, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
