The Tuscola Mountaineers will head out on the road to face off against the West Henderson Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Tuscola will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Tuscola proved they can win big last Monday (they won by four) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Smoky Mountain 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Tuscola were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, West Henderson unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. Neither they nor Hendersonville could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept West Henderson happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 6th.

West Henderson used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Hendersonville. Rhylie Druskis played for 80 minutes having averaged 40.5 this season. She made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Tuscola pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. With that draw, West Henderson's record moves to 6-1-2.
