Gilmer County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Williamstown Yellowjackets a 17-0 shutout. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 contests by six runs or more this season.

Alexis Stoddard was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Maggie Snyder was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Gilmer County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in nine consecutive matchups.

Gilmer County's victory bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Williamstown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.
