Football Recap: St. Augustine Yellow Jackets vs. Clay Blue Devils
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Augustine). They blew past the Clay Blue Devils 56-6 at home on Monday. Given the Yellow Jackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 256th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Locklan Hewlett looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 63 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Carl Jenkins Jr. was in the mix as well, providing St. Augustine with two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Augustine will challenge Bartram Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Augustine is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Clay, they will square off against Fernandina Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
