Softball Recap: Mulberry Sets Scoring Season-High Against Westside

Mulberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westside Rebels, falling 22-2. On the bright side, the two- run effort marked the Yellowjackets' highest-scoring game to date.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Westside, they moved to 2-13 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Mulberry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Magazine on the 11th. As for Westside, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against Danville on the 11th.
