Softball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

Bremen came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the East Noble Knights, falling 19-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Delainey Neher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Bremen has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for East Noble, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-1 record this season.

Bremen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Knox on the 23rd. As for East Noble, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Westview on the 24th.
