Soccer Recap: Christ School Gets the Win

Christ School had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the nine-goal drubbing they dealt Ambassador Christian School on Thursday. The Greenies never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Costa Barlas as he scored three goals for his team.

Christ School's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ambassador Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ School will challenge Charlotte Country Day School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ambassador Christian School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Fletcher School at 4:00 p.m. on September 8.
