Baseball Game Preview: Ocean Springs Greyhounds vs. Brandon Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Ocean Springs will face off against Brandon. The Greyhounds will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ocean Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Brandon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Ocean Springs heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They lost 10-0 to Brandon. The loss continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

For Brandon's part, not much got past Jackson Clark, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Ocean Springs off the board. Clark has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tre Adcox, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
