Volleyball Recap: Hernando Leopards vs. Nature Coast Tech Sharks
With a playoff game on the line, Hernando rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Nature Coast Tech Sharks. Winning may never get old, but the Leopards sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Hernando was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 18-25, 25-14.
Hernando found their leader in underclassman Carlie Grant, who had 30 digs and two aces. Grant is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Nature Coast Tech, they moved to 14-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Hernando nor Nature Coast Tech have any future games scheduled.
