Soccer Game Preview: University School vs. Pigeon Forge

The University School Buccaneers will square off against the Pigeon Forge Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

University School saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Providence Academy.

University School's goal came courtesy of Cooper Booth, who's now up to 11 this season.

Meanwhile, Pigeon Forge hasn't lost a match since March 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Gatlinburg-Pittman finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. Pigeon Forge's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

University School's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-2. With that draw, Pigeon Forge's record moves to 7-2-2.

University School might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Pigeon Forge in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Buccaneers were down 3-0.
