Basketball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County lost against Coffee County Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers were dealt a 73-32 defeat at the hands of the Coffee County Central Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Red Raiders are ranked fifth).

Warren County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Coffee County Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren County will take on Siegel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coffee County Central, they will square off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Coffee County Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matchups.
